The results of the XXII Ural Championship
Finally there are the results of the XXII Ural Championship in competitive programming that was held on 11 and 12 May 2018. In total 29 teams participated in the Championship, they were from various cities of Russia such as Moscow, St. Petersburg, Ufa, Chelyabinsk, Izhevsk, Kazan, Miass, Samara, Tyumen and Yekaterinburg.

The XXII Ural Championship in competitive programming is held this year in Ufa. The contest takes place on May 11-12, 2018 at Congress-hall, Zaki Validi str., blg. 2. The Championship has been running annually since 1997 attracting smartest teams of the Ural region.

The Tournament of first-year students was held on Saturday, April 21. The purpose of the tournament was to introduce young people to similar contests and to attract them to participate in following contests.

The results of 8th BSUIR Open Programming Championship
VIII International open championship final in sport programming of BSUIR was held at the Faculty of Computer Systems and Networks in Belarusian State University of Informatics and Radioelectronics with the support of Ministry of Education of Belarus.

Ardecs at 8th BSUIR Open Programming Championship
The Ardecs company is going to take part in the VIII BSUIR Open Programming Championship, which will be held in 14- 16th of March 2018 in Minsk, Belorussia, as a sponsor of the Plushki team.
The Championship will gather students from BSUIR as well as from Lithuania, Russia, and Uzbekistan, Armenia, Ukraine and Brazil.
The Championship of this scale demands participants to have a lot of skills, such as knowledge of various methods and algorithms, as well as working in a tight time frame. Moreover, such contests challenge participants and develop skills of pair programming and teamwork, skills of optimizing programs and working with limited hardware resources. -
XXI Russian National Programming Tournament in ISTU
The opening of regular programmers' tournament was started in ISTU on 10 February.
Tournament of young programmers, which ISTU has organized in cooperation with Lomonosov Moscow State University, is going to last nearly two weeks. -
Plushki team on Northern Eurasia Final 2017
On the 2nd – 3rd December four sites in Russia and CIS countries held NEERC (Northern Eurasia Final) – semifinal of the ACM International Collegiate Programming Contest (ICPC).
Teams from Russia and CIS countries fought for the right to represent their university at the finals of the most prestigious university sports programming competition on the 3rd of December.
More than 300 teams performed at four semifinal venues in the universities of St. Petersburg, Barnaul, Tbilisi and Almaty. Following the results of the competitions, teams, going to finals of ICPC, which will be held on the 20th – 25th of April in Beijing, were selected.
Championship ICPC (International Collegiate Programming Contest) has been receiving attention for years because of success in this contest of Russian students, who have been maintaining the leadership to others for the 6 years.
