Ardecs at 8th BSUIR Open Programming Championship

The Ardecs company is going to take part in the VIII BSUIR Open Programming Championship, which will be held in 14- 16th of March 2018 in Minsk, Belorussia, as a sponsor of the Plushki team.
The Championship will gather students from BSUIR as well as from Lithuania, Russia, and Uzbekistan, Armenia, Ukraine and Brazil.

The Championship of this scale demands participants to have a lot of skills, such as knowledge of various methods and algorithms, as well as working in a tight time frame. Moreover, such contests challenge participants and develop skills of pair programming and teamwork, skills of optimizing programs and working with limited hardware resources.

Thus, participation in programming contests has a lot of advantages for developers. Naturally, Ardecs company engages their employees and provides them with opportunities for personal fulfillment by sponsoring teams.

The BSUIR Open Programming Championship is normally conducted in accordance with ACM contests rules. Participants are given 8-12 programming problems in English to solve within 5 hours. Preliminary round is going to be held on the 14th of March at 17:30 Minsk time. Major event will start on the 15th of March at 10:00. Besides the competition itself, Championship organizes chill zone with game room and solutions analysis.

Plushki team, represented by Denis Tatarinov and Kirill Bulatov, got to the finals because of successful performance at XXI Russian National Programming Tournament in ISTU.
