Northeastern European Regional Contest 2016 results

NEERC 2016 was held in St. Petersburg on December 3-4, 2016. The IzhSTU first division competitive programming team participated in a worthy manner, they received a 2nd degree diploma.

Our colleague Denis Tatarinov, the team member, shared his impressions about the competition:

This championship is a team competition, each team consists of three members. The team provided with one computer and multiple tasks. Of course, the time allotted for the decision is limited. We did not manage to solve only one task to pass the final. I want to note that the tasks correspond to the level of the contest  - they are very difficult, but also interesting. Algorithmic solutions can be applied in practice, including logistics, as, for example, the problem of circumvention of the cave in Indiana Jones task.

Over a thousand teams were involved in the quarter-finals, in the semifinals were more than two hundred competitors. On behalf of Ardecs we congratulate the team and coach Pavel Abizyaev. We are proud of you!
